Barclays Premier League is popularly referred to as English Premier League. Barclays Premier League fixtures of 2015/16 season have already started and it is now three-week old. City have a solid start to the campaign and clinched their third straight victory by blowing Everton 2-0. The Citizens now claim the top spot on the Premier League table list.

City Campaign

They came victorious at the Goodison Park on Sunday. City were full of tempo following their win against defending Champions Chelsea in the second week of the Premier League.
The first firing arrived from Aleksandar Kolarov on an hour mark. However, the first attempt was made by the hosts when a Romelu Lukaku shot slammed the bar. David Silva saw his powerful shot rattling the woodwork.

Both the hosts and guests had a fair amount of chances in the opponents’ boxes. Sergio Aguero tried twice to open his personal account at the night but was frustrated by Everton keeper Tim Howard. Jesus Navas had a chance to save all points beyond doubt before the travelling side embellished their scoreline, this time, via Samir Nasri.
The Frenchman put all hopes of Everton to bed with an 88th-minute strike. Nasri was benched off and slotted the ball to Toure just on the edge of the penalty box. The Ivory Coast international played it back to him with a beautiful cut and Nasri blasted the shot beyond Howard’s reach.
