Man City and Liverpool win but tension in Chelsea camp
Man City registered a convincing win as they beat
Southampton on Sunday. While Man City completely dominated Southampton as the
full time score line of 3 – 1 suggests, Manchester United could only manage a 1
– 1 draw against Leicester. England forward Jamie Vardy made history as he
struck the first goal for Leicester. His 24th minute goal made him
part history as he scored for the 11 consecutive English Premier League matches.
If it was not for Bastian Schweinsteiger’s equaliser in the 46th
minute, Man United would have been staring into defeat. On Sunday, Arsenal
managed to beat Swansea 1 – 0 but dark clouds are still gathered above the
Chelsea camp.As Jose Mourinho went on to play without main striker Diego Costa,
the match against the Spurs ended in a goalless draw. Amidst a lot of on-going
tension in the camp, the decision of dropping their disgruntled striker
backfired on Mourinho. All is not well in the blues camp as frustrations and
rifts are coming out in public. They need to win big time to gain important
points and most importantly, gain back their lost confidence.
Real Madrid back to winning ways as Barca remains too hot to handle
In La Liga , Barcelona
thrashed Real Sociedad 4 – 0 on Saturday. The Catalan Giants were on fire at
Camp Nou as Brazilian star Neymar scored the first goal at the 22nd
minute and another one to complete his 14th goal of the season.
Suarez chipped in with a goal as Leo Messi scored the final goal in stoppage
time. Barca was no short of confidence as they carried the momentum from their
El Classico match. While Barca carried forward the momentum, Real Madrid made a
strong and much needed come back against Eider after their El Classico fiasco.
Gareth Bale’s header before half time and Ronaldo’s penalty in the 82nd
minute made sure that the score line read 2 – 0 at full time. This win will
give the Madrid boys a much needed confidence. Please visit Facebook page ,Read more .
